BaZi Officer and Killings Attack the Day Master

The moment students hear Officer/Killings, the face changes first. Books write lawsuits, petty people, illness and disaster. After listening it feels like a sentence.

First take that sentence apart: Officer/Killings in the chart is not called Officer and Killings attacking the Day Master. Officer/Killings is the group that controls the Day Master. Everyone can have it. Rank, reviews, duty: those already rely on Officer/Killings. The two words “attack the Day Master” mean this controlling force lands on the Day Master, and the Day Master cannot carry it.

If you can carry it, it is going to work, being promoted, people at home leaning on you. If you cannot, it is collapse, illness, lawsuits, a vicious superior; in a woman’s chart you still ask whether the person in the marriage is pressing you so you cannot breathe.

Seeing Officer/Killings and calling it attack is the scare beginners use most. In class I do not allow students to judge that way.

What Officer/Killings is, and what attacking the Day Master is

Ten Gods are read from the Day Master. What controls me is Officer/Killings. Direct Officer is upright, has rules, has a title. Seven Killings is Indirect, arrives hard, pressure is high. Both are pressure. The flavor differs.

Officer/Killings controlling the Day Master is the Five Elements’ proper job, not disaster. What you actually ask is three things:

1. Is the Day Master strong, can it carry.
2. Is there Seal in the middle to bridge, turning Killings into a force that generates me.
3. Is there Output to control it, or Friend/Rob Wealth to help the Day Master.

Weak Day Master, no Seal bridging, no Output controlling, no Friend helping: Officer/Killings’ force strikes the body directly. That is attack. The more of the four that are missing, the more solid the pressure.

With Seal, pressure can become method, noble people, backing inside a system: that is Killings generating Seal, not attack. With Food God controlling Seven Killings, a person has skill to hold that pressure. With Friend helping the Day Master, your own people hold you up. If those three roads are there, do not scare people with the two words “attack.”

Strong Day Master seeing Officer/Killings is rank; weak seeing it is collapse

This sentence belongs on the blackboard.

A strong person: the Day Master has roots, Friend/Rob Wealth, Seal, enough qi. Officer/Killings arrives, they can take it. In life often: a title, someone managing, duty to carry. Outside looks busy; inside they are actually needed. In a man’s chart this type often has a more visible career. In a woman’s chart, there is a title in the relationship; the other person or the system puts her in a place.

A weak person: the Day Master is empty, drained much, controlled much. Officer/Killings coming again is like a thin person carrying a sack. Not that they do not want to carry. The bones sound first. Common look: watched by a superior until they cannot sleep, reviews that never end, disputes wrapping the body, the body collapsing first, no surplus left at home. A woman weak and then pressed by Officer/Killings: in marriage easy to meet someone who manages her to death, a big temper, or herself long in the place of “I have to cooperate.”

So the same Officer/Killings group: strong is “I have things to do,” weak is “I am being done in.” On a chart, ask the Day Master first, then Officer/Killings. Without asking the Day Master, every verdict floats.

Direct Officer attacking and Seven Killings attacking hurt differently

Direct and Indirect must be split. Mix them and the advice you give people will run the wrong way.

Direct Officer attacking is more like a system, reviews, a title slowly pressing you thin. Not exploding on a given day. Performance, rules, face, family expectations, stacked layer by layer. A person feels “I should do this.” After doing it, they are empty. Chronic, decent, hard to say out loud. Illness is often draining: insomnia, gut, blood pressure, repeated checks that find no major disease, but just tired.

Seven Killings attacking is more like a sudden event. A vicious superior suddenly making trouble, a petty person filing, conflict, surgery, accident, being grabbed to carry a duty you never agreed to. Arrives fast, reaction also urgent. A person fears, rages, wants to flee. A woman with Seven Killings attacking: in feelings easier to meet someone forceful, explosive, or a relationship dense with conflict. Not necessarily a bad person. The force is biased.

Direct Officer attacking, I advise: cut duty, fewer side jobs, take a few “shoulds” off. Seven Killings attacking, I advise: do not hard-clash, do not sue to vent, if the body has a warning go get it checked, do not hold.

Both can be inauspicious. The rhythm of inauspicious differs. Direct Officer is grinding. Seven Killings is colliding.

In career it is a vicious post and lawsuits; in feelings it is living pressed down

On the career line, Officer/Killings attacking most often is not no work. It is work eating the person.

Weak pressed by Direct Officer: a person keeps the rules, and most easily overworks. Overtime, carrying the black pot, not daring to take leave for a review. Looks like a good employee. Actually used by the system down to the bone. Weak pressed by Seven Killings: workplace atmosphere sharper. Targeted, used as a punching bag, sudden transfer, a quarrel becoming an incident. In years like this, promotion is not necessarily a blessing. Rank arrives, illness and disputes may arrive together.

A woman’s chart still reads marriage. Officer/Killings is often husband, a stable partner, and the place she is recognized in the relationship. Strong Day Master: Officer/Killings is title and duty, the other person has shoulders, she can also carry the rules of living together. Weak then Officer/Killings attacking: easy that the other person demands much, has a big temper, or she swallows the grievance back. Not seeing Officer/Killings and harming the husband. It is the Day Master not being able to take that management.

In a man’s feelings, Officer/Killings attacking less often speaks of harming the wife directly. He is first filled by career and duty; going home there is no one there. What the wife wants is to be seen; he only sees pressure. Advising marriage then is actually advising him to cut Officer on the body a little.

Resolution is not seeking a charm. It is seeing which road is through

In class, handling Officer/Killings attacking, I only recognize three proper roads.

First, Seal transforming Killings. Someone teaches, a system, a method, turning pressure into a force that feeds you. Further study, finding someone willing to teach, turning chaotic work into process: all Seal. A weak Day Master needs this most.

Second, Food God controlling Killings. You yourself have technique, a profession, an outlet, holding that fierceness. The Day Master needs to be strong enough to control; a weak Day Master going to control takes qi at both ends. That is the Food-God-controls-Killings essay.

Third, Friend/Rob Wealth helping the Day Master. Your own people hold you, or you grow qi until you can carry. Friend helping is supplementing the Day Master, not telling you to combine Killings. Combining Killings is pulling Officer/Killings away, not striking the body. The flavor differs, and it is often a lesser move.

If one of the three is through, attack can ease. If all three are cut, that is truly dangerous. Do not see Officer/Killings and tell someone to quit and live in seclusion. That scares students. It is not reading a chart.

When luck cycle and annual luck meet Officer/Killings attacking, how to walk that year

Present in the natal chart: base color. This person is more easily found by duty and disputes for a lifetime. In the luck cycle: this decade’s theme. In annual luck: that year especially needs to gather.

Annual luck Officer/Killings attacking, the method I give is earthy, and students remember it:

Do not quit with nothing lined up. Angry enough at a superior to want to leave: find the next place first, then raise leaving. Once the gap stretches, the Day Master is weaker, Officer/Killings fiercer.

Sue less. Even with reason, mediate first, write first, keep evidence first. Venting in a Seven Killings year easily turns a small matter into an incident.

The body needs checks. Do not treat chest tightness, insomnia, bleeding, long-term pain as “just stress.” Seven Killings attacking: ask the surgery and sudden-illness line. Direct Officer attacking: ask overwork and chronic drain.

At work, fewer side jobs, fewer face posts, less being the person who carries everything. A title that year is not necessarily worth fighting for. Fight it and it may crush you.

In feelings, do not talk breakup on a temper, do not take household matters into a public place. Words in an Officer/Killings year are expensive afterward.

Two students to make the weight clear

A male student, Day Master weak, Seven Killings exposing on the month, branches helping Killings again, Seal light, Food God not showing, Friend also without force. Not that he had no work. Every job he did until the body flipped first. He changed three superiors; each was “very fierce.” Not that every superior in the world is bad. His chart cannot take Officer/Killings. Later a Seal luck cycle, he met a supervisor willing to teach. Same busy, the person came back to life. That is Seal bridging: attack turning into duty you can carry.

Another female student, Day Master strong, Direct Officer clear. Everyone said Officer/Killings attacking, marriage would be bitter. She married. The other person has a post, the family has rules. She dislikes being managed, but not to the point of being crushed. That is not attack. It is a strong Day Master seeing Officer: title and homework both there. Calling homework disaster advises someone to flee a relationship they can actually carry.

Both charts see Officer/Killings. One is illness and a vicious post. One is rank and duty. The difference is only whether the Day Master can carry it, and whether Seal, Output, Friend are there to help.

Class steps for reading Officer/Killings attacking

Do not flip one sentence here and one sentence there. Lock these five steps:

1. Fix Day Master strength first. Strong: Officer/Killings is mostly post and duty. Weak: then enter attack.
2. Is Officer Direct Officer or Seven Killings, exposing in the stem or hidden in the branch. Direct Officer grinds. Seven Killings collides.
3. Ask bridging: is there Seal? Is Seal bridging, or broken by Wealth.
4. Ask control and help: is there Output to control, Friend to help. If it can control, if help can land, attack is downgraded.
5. Map onto life: reviews and overwork, or sudden conflict; a vicious post, or being managed in marriage. When it matches, the verdict can stand.

The natal chart is structure. The luck cycle is a ten-year theme. Annual luck is that year’s people and events. The same Officer/Killings, placed on three layers, has completely different weight. Treat annual luck as a lifetime and you will scare yourself to death.

Also split combination and control. Friend going to combine Officer/Killings is your own people or a competitor pulling the title away. The force did not strike you. It was cut off. Attack is striking the Day Master. One is pull. One is strike. Do not mix the verdicts.

Does having Officer/Killings mean Officer and Killings attacking the Day Master?

No. Having Officer/Killings only says your life has pressure, title, systems. A strong Day Master can use it: it is a post. A weak Day Master with no rescue: that is attack. See Officer/Killings, ask the Day Master first, not disaster first.

In a year of Officer/Killings attacking, can I just quit and rest?

You can cut pressure. Do not quit with nothing lined up. Rest with no next place, for a weak person, is often emptier. First cut one duty, check the body a round, find the next place, then go. Fleeing and adjusting are not the same thing.

If a woman has Officer/Killings attacking, is marriage bound to be bitter?

Not necessarily. Ask whether the Day Master can carry it, whether Officer/Killings is Direct or Indirect, whether Seal is there to transform. Strong Day Master, Officer clear: many times the other person has duty. Weak, Killings heavy, no Seal: easier to be pressed. Bitter or not reads structure, not the five words “woman seeing Killings.”

Can attack be resolved by Friend combining Killings?

Combining Killings can pull some of the fierce force open, but it is often a lesser move: pressure intercepted by someone, opportunity intercepted together, and easy to owe favors. The proper roads remain Seal transforming, Output controlling, helping the Day Master. Read the combination line separately. Do not treat it as this essay’s main resolution.
