Xiang water presses Lian fire; Zi palace is steadier than Wu

Lianzhen and Tianxiang in Zi/Wu Life Palace: a Prison star carrying a Seal star. The Seal star works with caution. Opposite is Pojun, the Wealth Palace is Ziwei and Tianfu, and the Career Palace is Wuqu. Tianxiang sits bright, so the whole group is led by it. Tianxiang belongs to water, Lianzhen to fire; water comes to press fire, restlessness is taken into the belly and becomes clever talent. Prefers Wenchang, Wenqu, Longchi, Fengge, and Tiancai. The three directions meeting Wenchang/Wenqu again is called 廉貞文武格 (Lianzhen Wen Wu pattern), more able to hold authority at work. Zi palace is better than Wu: Zi water helps Tianxiang press the fire; Wu fire burns restlessness up. Zi palace also has sun and moon both bright, so leadership shows more. Feeling runs deep, yet the three directions lean material; the inner life often fights itself. Opposite Pojun: even in calm, accidents still come. Most feared is Qingyang entering Life: the native becomes impulsive and draws trouble.

Teacher Ming's reading: Lianzhen and Tianxiang in Zi/Wu Life Palace

Do not treat Lianzhen and Tianxiang as fine just because they look quiet. I read Xiang water pressing Lian fire as restlessness becoming talent. It looks steady; opposite Pojun often brings accidents. Feeling runs deep, the outside is very practical, and the inner life often fights itself. Prefers Wenchang and Wenqu; the three directions meeting them again is 廉貞文武格 (Lianzhen Wen Wu pattern), more able to hold authority at work. Most feared is Qingyang entering Life.

Jia, Ding, Ji, and Gui years share much the same point—Lu and clamping the seal are what open the path. If your year is not listed, do not worry—first understand this star group's temperament.

Lianzhen and Tianxiang in Zi versus Wu

Feeling runs deep; the outside is very practical

Lianzhen pulled by Tianxiang takes on a strong colour of feeling. Stars in the three directions all lean material; the native likes to associate with people of status, is picky about friends and partners, and is empty in spirit. Sometimes very dreamy, sometimes very practical—fighting with oneself.

It looks steady; opposite Pojun often brings accidents

The group is led by Tianxiang, so it is originally steady. Opposite Pojun rushes it, and accidents often come; the native who does not want to move is still pushed. Most feared are Bing, Wu, and Ren years with Qingyang entering Life: once the clamp on the seal breaks, the native is both harsh and brittle, and on meeting setbacks becomes impulsive and draws trouble.

Zi palace is better than Wu; only water can hold the press

Tianxiang sits bright in both; Lianzhen is in a level seat in both, so Tianxiang leads. Wu palace is fire and will burn Lianzhen’s restlessness up. Zi palace is water and helps Tianxiang press Lianzhen’s bad temper. Zi palace also has sun and moon both bright: leadership is stronger, and showing oneself is easier.

Xiang water presses fire; restlessness becomes talent

Tianxiang’s water overcomes Lianzhen’s fire: the native is less floating, work turns cautious, and talent can be the base of a career. Most prefers Wenchang, Wenqu, Longchi, Fengge, and Tiancai as support. The three directions meeting Wenchang/Wenqu again is 廉貞文武格 (Lianzhen Wen Wu pattern), more able to hold authority at work.

Learning points: Lianzhen and Tianxiang in Zi/Wu Life Palace

  1. Spouse Palace Tanlang: early marriage is not advisable: Tanlang in the Spouse Palace—do not marry early. Meeting malefics and Hua Ji rushing and breaking it governs clash and harm; feelings are unstable. Late marriage, or passing premarital obstacles before forming a household, is suitable; rushing the ceremony is not.
  2. Zuofu and Youbi sharing the palace is instead inauspicious: Zuofu and Youbi are helper stars, yet sitting with Lianzhen and Tianxiang the native instead becomes smooth in a harmful way—help that hurts. Women more easily clash with husband and harm children; marriage and children both need care.
  3. Prefers 財蔭夾印 (Wealth-shade clamping the seal); fears 刑囚夾印 (Punishment-prison clamping the seal): Jumen Hua Lu or Hua Quan coming to clamp the seal, or Lucun in Life Palace, is called 財蔭夾印 (Wealth-shade clamping the seal); money and status rise more readily. Lucun in the same palace must have Qingyang/Tuoluo clamping, so petty people easily squeeze. 刑囚夾印 or 刑忌夾印 (Tianxing and Hua Ji clamping the seal): the native is subjective, lazy about communicating, with many disputes. Sharing the palace is the greatest harm; three-harmony is also troublesome.
  4. Most feared is Qingyang sharing the palace: Qingyang is Punishment, Lianzhen is Prison, clamping Tianxiang the Seal—forming 刑囚夾印 (Punishment-prison clamping the seal) or 刑杖維司 (punishment staff holding office). The native is brittle, slippery, and violent, short of deep thought, easily in lawsuits and wrongly accused. Add Guanfu, Guansuo, and Baihu, and prison disaster is possible. Wu palace is the greatest harm; major luck and annual cycles are read the same way.
  5. Stars in the three directions are strong; most have no ancestral property: whether malefics shine or not, it governs having no ancestral property; even if there is some, it is easily lost and then rebuilt by the self. Pioneering force is short; taking a blank-start household as the proper path is even more necessary—family property cannot be relied on.
  6. Led by Tianxiang: public office is suitable: the native is kind, cautious and responsible, step by step, yet short of pioneering force and that bold qi. More suited to public office, or finance inside a large firm, accumulating rank at a steady pace.
  7. Wenchang/Wenqu form the Wen Wu pattern; Hua Ji is not read as a bad pattern: Wenchang and Wenqu arching from the three directions is 廉貞文武格 (Lianzhen Wen Wu pattern); authority can be held at work. Even meeting Hua Ji, it is not treated as a bad pattern—only as not running smoothly. Guard against more drain on lifespan, feelings not running smoothly, and more clash injuries.
  8. Meeting Lu, an important post can be held: both Lianzhen and Tianxiang are official stars governing rank. Meeting Lucun or Hua Lu in the same palace, an important post is more possible, and step-by-step rise to a leading post is also possible; rank then sits more solidly.
  9. Huoxing and Lingxing sharing the palace is not advisable: Huoxing and Lingxing sharing the palace will light Lianzhen’s restlessness. Temper is violent, mood unstable, action impulsive, thought shallow; wrong decisions are easy, and one error can collapse. Steady first, then move.

Teacher Ming's reading: how to read Lianzhen and Tianxiang in Zi/Wu

To close this article: Lianzhen and Tianxiang is led by the Seal, suited to public office. Prefers 財蔭夾印 (Wealth-shade clamping the seal); most fears Qingyang sharing the palace. Wenchang/Wenqu form the Wen Wu pattern; Zuofu/Youbi sharing the palace is instead inauspicious. Most have no ancestral property and must raise a household from a blank start.

Three points are enough to remember. First, only with Lu can an important post be held. Second, most feared is Qingyang breaking the clamp on the seal. Third, pioneering force is short; accumulating rank at a steady pace is what lasts.
