Qingyang and Tuoluo are punishment-and-Ji stars. The names sound fierce. In lived life they are more like two kinds of difficulty: one is a fast knife, one is a sticky net.

Qingyang is the knife. Sharp, hard, charging, a sentence that wounds—and also daring to move, to open, to push a matter out. Tuoluo is the net. Drag, grind, turn. The matter reaches the door and will not go in. The person walks the same circle.

Students often treat Yang-Tuo as “this palace is finished.” Finished is rare. Wearing people down is common. Reading Yang-Tuo, first ask: is this palace’s matter being cut, or being wrapped. Tuoluo: the torment is “not finished yet”

Tuoluo’s torment is rarely one cut. It is a plan delayed, a contract revised again, someone who left coming back, an illness a little better then repeating. The goal is still there. The road got longer. In character, the person hesitates, reconfirms, turns in the same feeling.

Delay is not laziness. Many people with a clear Tuoluo work hard. The work is spent on turning over: patching papers, waiting for a reply, handling different clones of the same trouble. Turning over also looks like doing things. It just never reaches the next station.

Stagnation is Tuoluo’s long face. In career it looks like a bottleneck. In relating it looks like a tie that cannot split and cannot walk into. The bottleneck is not always short ability. This palace is netted. The net’s fix is a deadline, one decision at a time, allowing something to “end imperfectly this time.” What Tuoluo most fears is your pursuit of completeness, because completeness lets it ask for one more week.

Tuoluo in Life Palace: thinks a lot, moves slowly—or moves a lot and stays on the spot.
In Career: promotion and projects easily stick in process, approval, personnel.

Tuoluo can still get things done. Getting them done usually looks like: a little later, a little more roundabout, but still in the bag at the end. Demand Tuoluo at Huoxing’s speed, and you only drive yourself mad.

Qingyang: the knife has two edges—it wounds, and it can open a road

Qingyang makes people labour. The mind is tight, speech is straight, the standard is hard. Sharpness is not always malice. It is that the knife sits on the mouth. At work these people see accurately, speak fast, and also easily turn colleagues into enemies. Obstinacy and impulse are a set: once decided they charge; after charging they look whether anyone is on the ground.

Yet Qingyang is also action. Without this star, many charts have only ideas. Opening a shop, opening a cut, opening a road, tearing out an old page—Qingyang looks more like it than Tuoluo. So it is two-faced: one face punishment, one face advancing.

• The clamped palace: write that class of matter as steps. Do not handle it by feel. Yang-Tuo most eats feel. Steps are their bane.

Huo-Ling is explosion. Yang-Tuo is grinding. After an explosion there is a scene. Grinding has no scene; every day is the scene. Charts with both sets: life’s rhythm will be dramatic, and rest has to be better managed.

Does Qingyang always mean surgery or legal trouble?

The image is there. It is not the verdict. Surgery, needles, metal, dispute, surgical-style handling, are all Qingyang’s clan. In Health or Career and also under clash, it is worth bringing check-ups and contracts forward. Fright at the sight of Qingyang scares advancing away too.

Tuoluo in Spouse—is splitting the clean way?
